At CXC Global, we’re proud of the dedication and service we offer our clients. Here are just a few comments about what we’ve been able to do for hard-working contractors, just like you.
"Just a short note to thank for your assistance in bringing me on board with CXC. I have dealt with CXC in the past and I am always impressed with the professional manner in which your company treats it's consultants. I am highly impressed with your professional conduct. Whenever I asked you for anything you were rapid in your response and this reflects highly on not only CXC, but you personally. You bent over backwards to provide a consistently high level of customer service. The speak is going the extra mile, but in your case it is more than glib business term. I would have no hesitation in recommending you and CXC to any consultant that requires services such as CXC provides. I would, without any doubt recommend you as the person that they should work with. In closing I give my thanks and best wishes. " Michael Parkes, Release Manager, EDS
"I have been a contractor with CXC for a little over a year between Sep 2007 and Nov 2008. I just wanted to go on record to appreciate the excellent service I received from CXC staff in Fyshwick, Canberra. I would like to particularly mention Chris Perry and Peter Natterer for going out of their way in assisting me even though I do not have an existing relationship with your organisation. I am impressed by their diligence and courtesy, not to mention their quick response to my request, and would like to nominate them for any award or recognition you may have for staff with exceptional commitment to customer service." Chandra Balivada, Contractor at the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations
“As an Independent IT Contractor working in Australia, CXC Global has assisted with not only with maximising my take home pay but also with knowledge regarding the different tax structures contractors are able to utilise. I have been with CXC for 2 1/2 years and have saved over $7000 per annum by salary packaging. Another thing that I find comforting is that I have a dedicated Account Manger who is there to assist with any tax queries I may have. Plus any queries I have are handled quickly and professionally and it’s all stress-free. " Don McGowan, Contractor
‘’I would like to offer my thanks and appreciation with regards one of your members of staff. Since I have been involved with CXC (3 months and counting), every question or query, no matter how minor or major has been dealt with in a professional and more importantly a friendly manner. Rebecca Mayak has been a breath of fresh air to deal with. Rebecca has never failed to impress me with any question I have thrown at her, even questions not related to the complicated Tax rules in Australia! She goes out of her way to answer them and explain in layman’s terms what the impact is to me personally. Since arriving in Australia from the UK, I have had several bad experiences with companies and their service but my faith has been restored thanks to CXC and namely Rebecca. I am always quick to send a email or letter to complain of bad service, but always slow to respond when treated well. Therefore I felt I had to send this email thanking CXC and specifically Rebecca." Wayne Carston, Contractor
‘’Just a quick note to let you know that I have been offered a full time permanent job in Hobart. For many reasons, most of which are totally unrelated to work, Esta and I have decided to take the opportunity to move back home. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer need the services of CXC. I finish up here at Defence in the first week of May, and should submit my last timesheet to you on Monday May the 8th. So, thank you for all the excellent help you have given me (and thanks to Lauren too). You've done a fantastic job of making my financial arrangements really easy, and have looked after me well. I've been really happy with your approach and with the services of CXC and if I find myself looking at a contracting role again, I will certainly give you a call. (By the way, I have recently referred a couple of friends on to you. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon.)’’ Anthony Stoner, Contractor to Defence, Technical Writer
‘’I remember saying to Jason Brady from the Brooklyn Group when he was here in Melbourne the last time, that in all my 15 years in the I.T. Industry, signing up with cXc was the best move I ever made and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I do appreciate everything you do and look forward to dealing with you further in 2006’’ Stephan Barrie, Manager, Velocity Consulting
"I just received my tax back. Thank you very much for all your help, you've been tremendous. I had to come back to you with a lots of questions and you responded promptly and accurately every time. I really appreciate that, because it was difficult for me to keep an eye on it whilst travelling. I may need to get in touch with you again for some advice re getting super back but I should be able to sort it out myself. I can wholeheartedly say that your service over my time with CXC has been impeccable and you responded very well to customer needs. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to others in the future. If you would wish me to send this to ambit or others let me know" Pete O’Halloran, Contractor, IT Project Manager contract for Qantas
Project manager case study
Background:
As a Project Manager, Tim earns $700 per day as his gross taxable income. He is struggling with his cash flow but is looking to buy a laptop and a car. He also has a mortgage to repay. Although he is a long way from retirement, he is also concerned about the future and is contributing standard 9% p.a. towards superannuation.
Solution:
After meeting with one of the CXC Global consultants, Tim decided to contribute an extra 6% p.a. towards voluntary superannuation. This helped to reduce his taxable income and the amount of tax he was paying by $120 each week.
Also, by salary packaging the laptop worth $2,000 and novated car lease with CXC Global, he was able to reduce his yearly tax bill from $47,298 to $43,216, making him better off by $4,082 a year.
